Aero Terminal
The Challenge
Designing for trust, developing the first Semi-Private Lounge for Aero during the COVID outbreak.
The Outcome
Aero’s first Terminal open its doors on November 2021 in Van Nuys, California. Establishing our first physical space outside our cabins and having a presence for our brand it’s been very successful.
This space was designed keeping our core design principles in mind, allowing our guest to recharge while waiting to on board the jet. This space allows guest to mingle and get a taste of their destination before they get there, it is a place to connect with the local flavors of the destination of choice, while kicking back and relax. We successfully engaged in a partnership with HEM that provided the modern furniture.
It also serves another purpose, to serve as office and lounge for our crew in between flights or to store logistical cargo for our jets. The flexible space can be transformed into a luggage holder or an international immigration office, depending on the need.
The dual purpose of the space turned this project in to a successful path to convince the executive Team that building this Terminal was worthwhile.
