Aero Cabin
The Challenge
Bringing back convenience, joy and trust to the way we do air-travel. At Aero we were inspired by the golden age of aviation, we focused on the customer experience from planning a trip until the arrival to the final destination. A fraction of the people at a fraction of the time with direct, semi-private flights between private terminals.
We started by defining the Design pillars that helped us create the entire user experience curve-to-curve:
Golden Age | Good Design | Minimalism | Futuristic | Light-show

The Outcome
Aero’s vision: A modern day social club in the sky for the new creative class of travelers. We value curation over comprehensive options, authenticity over influence, and ease over extravagance. We take you to places you will love with a flight experience you will remember. We pride ourselves on being the consummate hosts.
A monochromatic interior canvas painted with lighting. Lighting and sound will immerse the passenger into a memorable experience. Textures will infuse the design to make it feel more human.
We’ve developed a 80% custom interior for 16 passengers with a 1 by 1 configuration. Each seat is hand made, stitch by stitch and designed for comfort and cleanability.
The interior is monochromatic to enhance the sense of a full immersion, black to grey hues. Its textures and embossings are simple, providing a sense of comfort while keeping the minimalist feel. At the same time, lines and volumes seamlessly transition to blend-in, making the experience more soothing and enhancing the passenger experience. The lighting scenes are curated to carefully guide the user through the journey, transforming the cabin look and feel depending on the moment of the journey.

The journey map for the passengers and the crew, understanding how mood lighting will be mapped into each scene to enable different activities in the same environment.
We used mood lighting to tap into our emotions, like an invisible helping hand guiding us through the journey.
